Plants [Japanese Cedar]
The Japanese cedar grows best in forests of deep, moist soils in a warm, moist conditioned environment. Because of this, the Japanese cedar thrives in the Japanese temperate rainforest, especially in the southern parts of the rainforest, where it is warm and has high amounts of precipitation. It is generally able to resist disease, unless infested by pests. It can also self-pollinate, due to having both male and female parts on the same tree, allowing it to reproduce without the necessary need of another tree.
